ISO/IEC JTC 1 · Research & Implementation
Standards-Based AI Delivery
I research and apply ISO/IEC software, systems, database, AI, AI governance, BPMN, and IT service management standards to help organisations build, optimise, automate, and support enterprise platforms with structure, speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
Positioning
I am not just a consultant. I am building a delivery framework.
I am not just a consultant who gives advice, and not just a software builder who develops applications from high-level requirements.
I am building a standards-based AI delivery framework that converts business requirements into structured process models, software specifications, data models, AI governance controls, service automation models, and maintainable enterprise platforms.
My work is based on serious research and practical application of international ISO/IEC standards, especially standards developed under ISO/IEC JTC 1, the joint technical committee for information technology.
Six standards · One framework
The standards I research and apply
ISO/IEC 19510
BPMN for business process architecture
Convert requirements into structured BPMN-aligned process models before code is written.
ISO/IEC 29110
Systems & software lifecycle discipline
Lightweight lifecycle profiles that bring delivery discipline to small and growing IT teams.
ISO/IEC 9075
SQL & data architecture
Design databases with relational discipline, integrity, and portability for AI-ready data.
ISO/IEC 22989
AI concepts & terminology
A common AI vocabulary so business, technical, and governance teams understand each other.
ISO/IEC 42001
AI management system
Manage AI as a system: policy, risk, oversight, accountability, continual improvement.
ISO/IEC 20000
IT service management & automation
Design service workflows, support models, and automation that make platforms operable post go-live.
Why standards matter
Standards reduce the gap between business and software.
Many software projects fail because they are built from incomplete understanding. A business explains what it wants, a developer builds what they understand, a vendor delivers what was scoped — and the final system may not match the actual business operation, governance needs, data requirements, service obligations, or future maintenance expectations.
Standards help define how requirements should be understood, how business processes should be modelled, how software lifecycles should be managed, how data should be structured and queried, how AI should be described and governed, how IT services should be delivered and improved, and how systems should be maintained after go-live.
My work brings these standards into practical delivery — not as theory, not as academic documentation, but as a working framework for building real business systems.
The framework
Six layers, one delivery model.
- 01
Business process layer · ISO/IEC 19510
Convert business requirements into process models, workflows, approvals, participants, events, decisions, and execution logic.
- 02
Software & systems lifecycle · ISO/IEC 29110
Structure requirements, project management, implementation, verification, validation, documentation, and handover.
- 03
Data & SQL layer · ISO/IEC 9075
Approach database design with SQL discipline, relational thinking, data integrity, query structure, and long-term portability.
- 04
AI concepts & terminology · ISO/IEC 22989
Use a structured language for AI so business, IT, vendors, auditors and management do not misunderstand what AI means.
- 05
AI governance & management · ISO/IEC 42001
Treat AI as a managed system: policy, objectives, risk, oversight, accountability, continual improvement.
- 06
IT service automation · ISO/IEC 20000
Design service automation, incident handling, request fulfilment, service quality, and operational support models.
AI agents inside the framework
Speed without losing control.
AI agents are powerful, but they must not be allowed to build random software. In my framework, AI agents are guided by structured standards-based documents.
Agents help with requirement analysis, process discovery, BPMN-style modelling, software module design, database design, API specification, frontend planning, backend service generation, documentation, test cases, service automation design, AI governance documentation, training material, and support knowledge bases.
The AI agents accelerate delivery. The standards provide control. This is how I combine speed with structure.
- Requirement & process analysis
- Module & database design
- API & frontend planning
- Backend code generation
- Test case generation
- Documentation & training material
- Service automation design
- AI governance documentation
What I deliver
A platform the client's own IT team can own.
I help organisations understand their business processes, convert operations into structured workflows, build standards-aligned software specifications, use AI agents to accelerate delivery, design proper databases and data flows, create AI-ready and AI-governed platforms, automate service management, and train local IT teams.
My goal is not to make the client permanently dependent on me. My goal is to help the organisation understand, own, maintain, and improve its platform.
